New Partners Including Kellogg’s, Freeze and Tri-Coastal Jump on Board to Meet the Growing Demand from Hispanic Consumers in the U.S.
New York, NY (June, 2006)El Chavo, one of the most-watched programs on Spanish-language cable television, continues to tap into the U.S. Hispanic market with a growing licensing program. United Media, which represents the brand in the U.S. on behalf of Televisa, has been working to secure these exciting new partnerships for El Chavo.
Kellogg’s – In honor of Hispanic Heritage month this fall, the animated version of El Chavo will be featured on packaging of Apple Jacks and Froot Loops cereal August through October.
GAMESA® – Back to school promotion featuring their line of ready to eat packaged cookies will feature El Chavo with in-store signage, on pack and POP displays set to run July through October
Freeze – Apparel for adults and children launched spring ’06
Tri-Coastal – Novelty stationery hits stores late summer ‘06
MJC – Men’s and boys boxers, loungewear and sleepwear launches fall ‘06
Bioworld – Bags, backpacks messenger bags and headwear starting fall ‘06
Bendon – Coloring books and story books land at retail fall ‘06
Dan River – Bedding and beach towels in time for spring ‘07
Incorporating either the retro look from the live-action series or the new animated style based on the cartoon version of the beloved sitcom, products will roll out nationwide at mass, mid, specialty, drug and supermarket retailers.
