Excluding the night of the presidential election (11/02/04), ABC attracted its largest Tuesday audience (11.5 million) and its top Adult 18-49 rating (4.1/11) on the night in over 1 year - excluding nights with sports programming -- since 11/11/03 and 11/25/03, respectively.
ABC won the night across each of the key men demographics (Men 18-34 - 3.0/10, Men 18-49 - 3.9/11 and Men 25-54 - 4.3/11), Teens 12-17 (2.3/8) and Kids 2-11 (3.5/15).
ABC delivered its top Kids 2-11 performance on the night in over 2-1/2 years - since 5/14/02.
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)
First airing in 1965, ABC's rebroadcast "A Charlie Brown Christmas" won its hour across all key adult demographics (Adults 18-34 - 4.2/13, Adults 18-49 - 4.8/13 and Adults 25-54 - 5.4/13), Teens 12-17 (3.5/12) and Kids 2-11 (7.2/24).
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" delivered its best numbers ever on ABC in Total Viewers (13.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (4.8/16).
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" posted ABC's strongest performance in the hour in viewers and young adults in over 1 year - since 11/04/03. In addition, ABC saw its best Kids 2-11 rating in the hour in over 3 years - since 10/30/01.
"According to Jim" (9:00-9:30 p.m.)
A repeat "According to Jim" drew 11.7 million viewers and a 4.3 rating, 11 share among Adults 18-49, making it the most-watched program in its time period for the second time in 3 weeks. In addition, the family sitcom led its half-hour among Men 18-49 (3.9/10), Teens 12-17 (3.0/9) and Kids 2-11 (3.2/13).
"According to Jim" drew its largest audience and highest ratings ever among Men 18-49 and Kids 2-11 for a repeat episode. Additionally, the show matched its second-best Adults 18-49 rating ever for a rebroadcast.
"Rodney" (9:30-10:00 p.m.)
"Rodney" finished second in its time slot in Total Viewers (10.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.9/10), outperforming its NBC comedy competition by nearly 3 million viewers and by 15% in young adults (7.3 million & 3.4/9 - "Scrubs").
The ABC freshman comedy hit series highs across Men 18-34 (3.2/10) and Men 18-49 (3.8/10).
"NYPD Blue" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
"NYPD Blue" placed second in its hour, leading CBS' "Judging Amy" by 10% among Adults 18-49 (3.4/9 vs. 3.1/9).
