GOOGLE AND DILBERT DOODLE TOGETHER Google Inc., developer of the industry leading Google search engine, tapped Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert, to sketch the Google logo for the week beginning May 20. Dilbert, the world's most infamous office worker, and the rest of his officemates appeared on Google at www.google.com in a "Dilbert-esque" style alongside the Google logo. Over the course of five days, a plot unveiled itself, entertaining Google users as they search the Internet. Dilbert and Google fans also had the opportunity to purchase a commemorative mug featuring both popular logos. The Google search engine receives over 125 million queries a day.
"IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN" TO HIT THE NASCAR WINSTON CUP SERIES! United Media, Action Performance Companies Inc., Joe Gibbs Racing and The Home Depot have teamed up once again to bring the PEANUTS Gang to the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. In celebration of Halloween, Winston Cup driver Tony Stewart, who pilots the No. 20 Home Depot Pontiac Grand Prix, will drive two PEANUTS-themed cars in upcoming races: "In Search of the Great Pumpkin" in August at Bristol Motor Speedway and "It's the Great Pumpkin!" in October at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The races will coincide with the annual Halloween airing of the animated classic, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on ABC.

Beginning September 14th, arthur: Defenders of the Outer Dimension, the groundbreaking CGI live action television series, will join the ABC Family network. PEANUTS continues to have incredible success in China. Shanghai Zhenxin Garments, a ladies apparel licensee for PEANUTS, plans to open 100 Snoopy stores by the end of 2002 in addition to the existing 80 Snoopy counters already in China. Approximately 50 of the new 100 Snoopy stores have already opened, featuring chic fashions such as fur-collared sweaters, capri pants, and embroidered jean jackets.
This summer, Snoopy will appear once again at McDonald'sin Japan. Beginning in June, eight Snoopy premiums themed to sporting events such as soccer, baseball, skiing, and tennis will be given out with a purchase of the children's menu. A collector's set of all eight figurines also will be available for sale with purchase any of item from the McDonald's menu.
