CELEBRATING PRECIOUS MOMENTS OF THE PAST AND PRESENT
Precious MomentsTo celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the first Precious Moments figurine, Enesco Inc. unveiled its exclusive anniversary collection at a gala event during the Dallas Gift Show. Rolling out to consumers this holiday season, the line includes porcelain bisque figurines and ornaments that commemorate the past 25 years of the #1 gift brand.

In addition to its continued domestic success, Precious Moments has demonstrated its global appeal with its expansion into Asia. Over thirteen Asian deals have been signed. The program in Hong Kong will launch this fall with a giftware line offered by Everwin, a Precious Moments themed concept shop by Best Gate, and a promotion with Mevas Bank for banking products and credit cards. An infant apparel line and stationery products will kick off the program in the Philippines in early 2003.

ALL NEW CHARLIE BROWN SPECIALS CONTINUE TO ROLL OUT ON ABC
"LUCY MUST BE TRADED" PREMIERS SPRING 2003

Lucy Must be TradedNext up in the lineup of Charlie Brown specials is "Lucy Must be Traded," a new half hour primetime show based on baseball, a favorite theme from Schulz's comic strip. Produced and animated by the familiar team of Lee Mendelson and Bill Melendez, the special will debut in spring, 2003. The announcement comes after the classic PEANUTS holiday specials made their way to a new home at the ABC network last fall. This past spring an all-new special, "A Charlie Brown Valentine," successfully debuted and marked the first new PEANUTS programming in over eight years.

SATCHEL, BUCKY AND ROB GET FUZZY
Get FuzzyUnleashed this August, Get Fuzzy, the most downloaded and emailed comic strip since Dilbert, is set to appear on the 2003 wall calendar entitled "Hey There, Sweet Cheeks" and the 2003 boxed calendar "Scratch-A-Day" along with mini gift books available Spring 2003 all from Andrews McMeel. Orders for over 200,000 units of the boxed calendar have already been received. In addition, Armitron will be creating fun jelly Get Fuzzy watches. Also on tap, Gund will be manufacturing plush renditions of Satchel and Bucky. The watches and plush will be available at Borders/Waldenbooks this fall.

2GRRRLS TAKES ON THE WORLD
2GRRRLSSince taking over the job of international licensing for 2GRRRLS, United Media has worked successfully to spread the inspirational, feel-good messages of the popular girls brand across the globe. Recent licensees signed include: Austracote for adhesive book coverings in Australia and Industria Grafica Jandaia for back to school notebooks, backpacks, binders and more in Brazil.

CHARLES M. SCHULZ MUSEUM AND RESEARCH CENTER OPENS TO PUBLIC ON AUGUST 17TH
On August 17th, the doors of the new Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center will open to the public in Santa Rosa, CA. As visitors enter what may be characterized as a Mecca for PEANUTS fans, they'll see more than 100 original strips that illustrate the development of Schulz's characters, a re-creation of his studio that includes his well-used drawing board, and biographical materials that chronicle his early artistic abilities, as well as his devotion to family and friends. All these elements and more await fans and students of Charles Schulz's life and art, and his impact on the modern-day comic strip.

UNITED MEDIA TO SPEARHEAD CONSUMER PUBLIC RELATIONS FOR THE WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER AND TAREPANDA
TarePandaPenguin Books recently tapped United Media to spearhead the consumer public relations responsibilities for the World of Beatrix Potter. Simultaneously, the Copyrights Group also signed United Media to promote its latest hot property, TarePanda. Coming off successful consumer campaigns for Raggedy Ann's induction into the National Toy Hall of Fame and Dilbert's Ultimate Cubicle, the publicity team is set to launch strategic consumer campaigns for the 100 year old classic Beatrix Potter property and the hippest new panda from Japan!

DILBERT AND THE WAY OF THE WEASEL
FIRST NEW HARDCOVER BUSINESS BOOK FROM SCOTT ADAMS IN OVER FOUR YEARS

Dilbert and the Way of the WeaselComing off the success of over 20 million Dilbert books and calendars sold, Dilbert and the Way of the Weasel, the 5th business book from Scott Adams, will be released by HarperCollins on October 22nd. Fans can also expect to see Dilbert gracing the Canyon Ranch Health Resorts advertising campaign in publications such as Fortune Magazine, Newsweek, LA Times, etc. This campaign targets businesses and weary executives. Dilbert scratch-off lottery tickets will roll out in both Colorado and Iowa this fall.

JOE COOL'S SO COOL!
Proving yet again that some things just get better with age, Snoopy, the world's most lovable beagle, has been putting the fashion world in a frenzy, as those with their wallets at the cutting edge of fashion snap up Snoopy merchandise as fast as their fingers will let them. Vogue UK has recently picked up on the appeal of Snoopy and the PEANUTS gang, featuring Snoopy merchandise in the July issue and deeming the collecting of Snoopy items a fashionable habit. The PEANUTS gang has also taken the U.S. by storm with the appearance of the hip Snoopy By Doe shirts in the windows of the famed Fred Segal department store in California, Urban Outfitters, and Allure magazine.

arthur TO EXPAND INTO THE GLOBAL DIMENSION
LEGO Company has granted United Media global representation rights for arthurTM: Defenders of the Outer Dimension, an extension to the company's already existing North American rights. United Media also announced it has assigned agents in territories where the popular television show initially will launch. Agents include: Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (Europe), Plus Licens (Scandinavia), Gaffney International (Australia/New Zealand), and UMKK (Japan).

PEANUTS AND SARA LEE BAKE TOGETHER
Sara Lee Foods has signed on for a one-month PEANUTS promotion during the month of October. This promotion will run across 11 brands, including meats, bakery and coffee. Look for in-store signage and FSI on October 20, 2002.

RAGGEDY ANN & ANDY LAUNCH AT WAL-MART
RAGGEDY ANN & ANDYSprings Industries has teamed up with United Media to launch an all new Raggedy Ann and Andy infant promotion this month. The promotion includes infant bedding, nursery decor items (lamps, diaper stackers, mobiles, night lights, picture frames, comforter clips) and 2 boxed gift sets (bath and layette). The design theme is old fashioned Americana.

LOTTE AND PEANUTS SWEETEN UP JAPAN
Beginning January of this year, leading Japanese confectionery company, Lotte, launched a nationwide PEANUTS premium campaign with the release of PEANUTS-themed chocolate and chewing gum products. In addition, eleven flavors of ice candy, tagged as "Snoopy's Ice Land" were released, with a strong retail presence in over 1000 high-volume stores. Original Snoopy signage and freezers house the new icy treats, and more varieties are expected to roll out over the next few years.
